GLOBAL Technologies at PNDES Development Partners Conference to build Burkina Faso
GLOBAL Technologies visited PNDES Development Partners Conference held in Paris on December 7-8.
The PNDES is a key component of the Burkina Faso economy structural transformation. Such transformation requires strong policies from the state and a very active role of the private sector in increasing productive investment in high-potential and innovative sectors, as well as in improving the quality of human capital.
The aim of the Paris Conference was to federate Burkina Faso partners, both public and private investors, around the funding of the National Plan for Economic and Social Development – PNDES. This five-year plan embodies the ambitions of the Burkina Faso people for the 2016 to 2020 period.
GLOBAL Technologies group is present today in over 19 African countries, including Burkina Faso, conducts several big telecommunications projects and is continuously growing its presence on the continent. This Development Partners Conference was a great opportunity for networking and business appointments. Nicolas MERCIER, Vice President for Telecom & Infrastructure International Markets and Mathieu QUITTRE, Project Manager for African projects met Mr. Eric BOUGOUMA, Infrastructure Minister of Burkina Faso. They made an overview of the current situation in Burkina Faso and exchanged some ideas on future project portfolio development.
